Musicnotes is a freeware for the BlackBerry mobile devices that provides you with access to hundreds of popular sheet music. It comes in two different versions, the Professional version and the Lite version. The free version has limited features and it is really just a basic calculator that can print out sheet music notes. If you need more features, you have the option of upgrading to the Pro version for a modest cost. In addition to all the sheet music, Musicnotes has a number of other applications as well that are very useful. These applications include a game, a word search game, a calculator and a player for the iPod.
One of my favorite things about Musicnotes is how easy it is to navigate through song titles. I find it especially handy when I need to look up certain songs or styles of music that I am fond of. Once you download and open the program, you will be able to see your library of downloaded files. You can see the artists, the albums, the song names, the lyrics and even the download links. You can download and read sheet music for literally any style of song.
In addition to the sheet music, Musicnotes also offers you a bookmarking feature so that you can quickly find songs that you would like to listen to again. If you download the app, you can type in a song title or a phrase and Musicnotes will give you access to thousands of songs in categories such as Classical, R&B, Jazz, Rock and Hip Hop. You can even mix and match these genres and find a song that fits right into your style of playing. For those who don't have access to downloading online sources, Musicnotes is the perfect answer for listening to music and finding what you want. You can take your smartphone anywhere with you and never miss a beat.
